Australian airline Qantas is confident of a continued recovery for the aviation industry after the pandemic. The company is on track to place its largest aircraft order ever, reports The West Australian newspaper.

In total, there are 150 aircraft from the manufacturer Airbus for a total value of 24.8 billion dollars, equivalent to 279 billion kronor, although there will probably be a certain discount, the newspaper writes.

The largest model, the A350-100, is intended to operate non-stop flights from Australia's east coast to London and New York, respectively. The deal will be presented in full on Monday, according to the newspaper.
