Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines are expanding their strategic partnership through an enhanced codeshare agreement and new opportunities for members of the airlines' loyalty programmes.

From 1 June 2026, Philippine Airlines will place their PR code on Qatar Airways flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao to Doha. From there, travellers will gain access to onward connections to over 20 European destinations, including Paris, Rome and Frankfurt, via Hamad International Airport.

At the same time, Qatar Airways will place its QR code on Philippine Airlines domestic routes within the Philippines, providing easier onward connections to popular destinations such as Caticlan and Puerto Princesa.

Airlines are also strengthening cooperation between the Privilege Club and Mabuhay Miles loyalty programmes. Members of Qatar Airways Privilege Club can now earn and redeem Avios on Philippine Airlines flights in Southeast Asia, Australia and the USA, as well as on several destinations within the Philippines.

Similarly, Mabuhay Miles members will have the opportunity to earn and redeem miles across Qatar Airways' global network of destinations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, among others.

The partnership also means that Qatar Airways strengthens its presence in South East Asia, while Philippine Airlines gains broader international reach via Doha.

Qatar Airways was recently named the world's best airline by Skytrax 2025 and also awarded Platinum status by Cirium for operational reliability. Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines has been named the most punctual airline in the Asia-Pacific region for 2025 according to Cirium.
