Qatar Airways will resume its flights to Malta with four weekly departures from 2 July 2025. The route expands the airline’s European network to almost 50 destinations and provides travellers from Australia, China, India, Japan and the Philippines with access to the Mediterranean’s attractions via Hamad International Airport.

Travelers can discover UNESCO World Heritage Site Valletta, the sister islands of Gozo and Comino, and Mdina, which offers 4,000 years of history and has been the filming location for Game of Thrones. Malta-based travelers, in turn, will gain access to Qatar Airways' global network of over 170 destinations, including Australia.

According to the press release.
