Qatar Airways opens 16 new routes

Qatar Airways has announced 16 new destinations to which it will begin flying in 2018.

In Europe, this includes the Estonian capital Tallinn as well as Lisbon in Portugal and Valletta in Malta. There will also be a route to Gatwick Airport in London and flights to the three Turkish summer cities of Bodrum, Antalya and Hatay.

Outside Europe, flights will go to Cebu and Davao in the Philippines, as well as Langkawi in Malaysia and Da Nang in Vietnam.

The airline is also announcing expanded daily routes for certain cities. Flights to Madrid and Barcelona will now be three a day, and double the number for Warsaw, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Prague and Kiev.

Qatar presented the details of the new destinations during the Berlin Air Show.
