Before the pandemic, the tour operator Quality Travel arranged trips from Skellefteå Airport to snow-sure Andorra and now the company is choosing to resume traffic from five airports in Sweden, of which Skellefteå Airport is one.
Quality Travel works with accessibility and proximity by focusing on departures directly from Swedish regional airports. Ahead of the winter of 2025/2026, direct flights to Andorra are now offered from the regional airports in Skellefteå, Linköping, Växjö, Kalmar and Karlstad.
– We want more people to have the opportunity to discover Andorra – one of Europe's sunniest and most affordable ski destinations. By flying from Skellefteå where we reach travelers from all over Norrland, we make it easier and more convenient for our customers., says Niklas Östmark, CEO of Quality Travel.
– Andorra has become a favorite among our guests, thanks to the combination of snow-sure skiing, fantastic food, over 300 days of sunshine per year and our Swedish guides on site. Now we're making it even easier for all northerners to get there, continues Niklas Östmark.
– We are very pleased that Quality Travel chooses Skellefteå Airport as the departure point for the whole of northern Sweden. We know that there are many interested ski travelers in Skellefteå and through our geographical location we also reach travelers from surrounding cities so this will certainly be a fully booked flight to a snowy and sunny Andorra says Robert Lindberg, CEO at Skellefteå Airport.
The flight to Andorra from Skellefteå Airport will take place during the sports break week 10 on March 1, 2026 and is already bookable.
