Schools in the Canary Islands have been forced to close temporarily due to unusually high temperatures.
Forest fires are also raging on the island of Tenerife.
Recently it has been around 38 degrees on the islands and there have been reports of students in schools fainting.
Around 100 firefighters are now working to fight the forest fires in Tenerife.
To help, they have nine helicopters that waterbomb the flames.
This is reported by The Guardian newspaper, citing local authorities.
The fire first started in mid-August and has been going on since then with varying intensity.
