The long heat meant that there was a steady influx of guests and we can now sum up a record season in many ways.

In the heat of the summer, it was not surprising that the water park attracted most of the guests, and the increase consisted of many new guests who had never visited Skara Sommarland before. A clear trend this year is that guests had shorter notice and were not so guided by which day of the week they would come. For Skara Sommarland, this meant a more even number of visitors and many weeks with high numbers of guests every day. In the month of July alone, the park was visited by 207,000 guests, which is a record. This season also breaks records in terms of turnover, with an increase of 27 % and guests have together gone on 2.2 million rides on the various attractions.
