The political unrest is making Swedish charter travelers hesitant about traveling to Turkey, reports TT.

Ving is noticing a certain decrease in demand.

– We started selling trips to charter destinations last summer. During the autumn-winter, the booking picture was quite expected, but recently with the burning of the Koran and Swedish flags, we are seeing a decrease in demand right now and a slowdown in bookings, says the company's communications manager Claes Pellvik.

The number of cancellations on trips to Turkey has not increased.

– However, we have had some travelers contact us and want more information about the situation, says Claes Pellvik, adding that we are following the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' recommendations.
