Many people may choose to spend this holiday at home. But for those who choose to travel, there are some requirements and rules when entering different countries. Here you can see a summary of a number of European countries' guidelines for entry from Sweden.
If you are going to travel, it may be a good idea to obtain a Covid certificate, as proof of vaccination is required when traveling to most countries.

Denmark
Denmark categorizes countries in different colors based on the infection rate and the color determines which requirements apply when entering the country. Sweden is classified as green, which means that there are no requirements for covid testing or quarantine upon arrival. You can see the full list here here.
Norway
Sweden is also classified as green in Norway, which means that travelers do not have to go through quarantine upon arrival. Exceptions apply to travelers traveling from Värmland or Norrbotten, where entry quarantine is valid for ten days. However, anyone who is fully vaccinated or has had Covid-19 in the last six months is exempt from entry quarantine.
Finland
Since June 21, people who have been vaccinated are allowed to travel to Finland, 14 days after the last dose. This also applies to people who can prove through a medical certificate that they have had COVID-19 in the past six months.
Germany
Sweden is no longer classified as a risk area. The general requirement for a negative test, alternative proof of vaccination or recovery, quarantine and digital notification for travelers from Sweden to Germany has been lifted. However, the requirement for a certificate of vaccination or recovery still applies to all air travel to the country for persons over the age of six.
France
Fully vaccinated travelers from Sweden can enter the country without a test requirement. If you are not vaccinated, anyone over 11 years of age must show a negative COVID test that is no more than 72 hours old. There is no requirement for travelers from Sweden to quarantine or test themselves upon arrival.
Spain
Travelers flying to Spain must complete a health declaration no earlier than 48 hours before arrival. Once the declaration is completed, a QR code must be presented at check-in and upon arrival in the country.
In addition, travelers over the age of 12 traveling from upper Norrland must present certificates as proof of vaccination, a negative test result that is no more than 48 hours old, or a certificate of having undergone a covid infection.
Italy
Anyone traveling to Italy must fill out a digital form "EU Digital Passenger Locator Form". From July 1, a valid Covid certificate is required when entering from Sweden, among others, or a negative PCR test that is no more than 48 hours old. Children under six years of age are exempt from this requirement.
Greece
According to the Swedish embassy, the situation in the country can change at short notice. A PLF form is required for all travelers to Greece. However, a negative PCR test that is no more than 48 hours old is also required, alternatively the EU's digital Covid certificate for vaccination or a certificate of recovery from Covid infection.
Croatia
Entry regulations can change at short notice. Travelers can enter the country with the EU's digital Covid certificate. If this is not available, the person traveling into the country can show a negative PCR test that is no more than 72 hours old. A certificate of a negative antigen test that is no older than 48 hours is also an alternative. If a certificate is not available, there is the possibility of testing upon entry for a fee with mandatory isolation until a negative test result is obtained.
Turkey
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to advise against non-essential travel to Turkey. Upon entry, an entry form must be completed in advance, which can be found on the Turkish Ministry of Health website. Travelers must also present one of the following: a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours, a negative antigen test not older than 48 hours, an official vaccination certificate, or a certificate showing that they have had a COVID infection in the past six months.
