There are delays in ferry traffic between Karlskrona and Gdynia, Poland.

This after the Stena Spirit ran aground on Wednesday morning, after strong winds caused the mooring rope to break and cause damage to the ship.

A minor oil leak also occurred.

– But it won't be a large amount, says Johan Live, press manager at Stena Line.

The ferry has been examined by divers and on Thursday it remains at the quay, blocking other Polish ferries.

– She is now waiting for permission from the maritime authorities to be able to leave the quay and eventually go to a shipyard, says Johan Live.

Stena Estelle, which was supposed to dock in Karlskrona, will instead drop off passengers in Trelleborg.
