Anyone flying to Spain at Easter can prepare for chaos. 

If the union does not reach an agreement, 60,000 airport employees will go on strike – which would affect all Spanish airports.

Warnings are issued for cancelled departures, delays and long queues.

It can be confusing for those planning to fly to Spain over Easter. If the union and the employer do not reach an agreement, 60,000 airport employees are expected to go on strike on Easter Eve.

Easter is one of the biggest tourist holidays in Spain and around five million are expected to arrive in the country by air, writes El Mundo.

Long queues and cancelled departures

The newspaper writes that all airports will be affected if there is a strike. The unions Unión Sindical Obrera (USO) and Unión General de Trabajadores (UGT) say they still want to try to reach an agreement, but if that doesn't happen, there will be a strike starting April 20. Travelers should prepare for long lines, delayed and canceled departures.
