The thunderstorm has caused disruption to train traffic.
At 4:20 p.m., trains between Malmö and Stockholm were delayed due to a signal failure that occurred between Norrköping and Katrineholm.
An hour later, traffic was forced to stop completely.
– We are rerouting traffic via Nyköping, Linköping and Gävle, but are serving the same cities. It is difficult to say per individual train, but you can probably expect 30-60 minutes longer travel time, says SJ's press communicator Jonas Olsson.
SJ estimates that the delays will last for the rest of the day.
