Royal Jordanian will resume its direct route between Copenhagen and Amman according to the summer schedule. The first flight will operate on March 27, 2022.

The Copenhagen-Amman route will start with three flights a week, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Royal Jordanian will continuously review the possibilities of increasing the frequency based on demand. The route offers Nordics a good connection to Amman and on to the wonders of Jordan, including the Holy Land, the Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba and much more. In addition, the route is important for the business community in the Nordic and Middle East. The reopened route will be flown with Airbus A319 with 11 seats in Business Class and 105 seats in Economy Class. On board, a full-service product is offered with meals and baggage included in the ticket price. Royal Jordanian is a proud oneworld alliance member, with its 13 international partners offering a wide network of over 1,000 airports in 170 countries. The cooperation agreement with SAS enables fast and smooth connections via Copenhagen.

RJ's Chief Commercial Officer Karime Makhlouf said: "We at Royal Jordanian are delighted to be able to resume traffic on the Copenhagen-Amman route. We know that the route is needed. Many of our customers who want to visit family and friends in Jordan and the region have more or less demanded that we resume the route as soon as possible. Jordan offers a lot of interesting things to see and experience for different interests and visitors: ecotourism and adventure, wellness, history, religion and culture, MICE and good food. We also want to further develop our collaboration with tour operators to offer more Nordics the opportunity to book their package tour through our partners to discover the wonders of Jordan.".

The Copenhagen-Amman route was temporarily suspended in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jordan has been one of the first countries in the Middle East to reopen to tourists and business travelers.
