Russia plans tougher entry rules

Russia plans to make it more difficult for citizens of ”hostile countries” to enter the country. A draft presidential decree on changing visa rules is being prepared, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a televised statement.

The new rules will apply to citizens from a number of states – including the UK, the US and EU countries – that have imposed sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.

”This law will enable a number of restrictions on entry into Russia,” Lavrov said.
