Russian airline Aeroflot is now being excluded from the international booking system Sabre as part of the sanctions against Russia, a number of international media outlets report.

The decision affects not only international bookings but also Russia's domestic flights, and another booking service, Amadeus, which is used by other Russian airlines, is considering similar measures.

Aircraft manufacturers Boeing and Airbus have previously announced that they will not do business in Russia, and Russian airlines have been stopped from flying over Canadian airspace.
