Ryanair is known for its cheap tickets, but that is now over, company CEO Michael O'Leary told the BBC.
”There is no doubt that our really cheap promotional tickets for 0.99 euros (10 Swedish kronor) and also those for 9.99 euros (103 kronor) are something we will not see for many years,” he says.
He estimates that the average price of a ticket with the airline will rise from $40 (401 SEK) to $50 (502 SEK) in the coming years.
The reason why airline tickets are becoming more expensive is increased fuel prices, according to the company.
