Ryanair does not expect to have any growth in Germany next year after closing its bases in Bremen and Weeze outside Düsseldorf.
CEO Michael O'Leary told the Reuters news agency on Wednesday.
Ryanair is closing its bases in Germany and Eindhoven, the Netherlands, to continue offering lower prices while dealing with higher fuel costs and strikes, the latter of which have been pan-European over the summer, with both pilots and cabin crew dissatisfied over pay and working conditions.
Ryanair's shares are down 1.5 percent in London.
