Ryanair has placed an order for an additional 25 aircraft from Boeing, according to a press release.

It concerns the 737 Max 8 model that the Irish low-cost airline wants to purchase. The order value is three billion dollars, according to current list prices.

Ryanair is the largest operator of Boeing aircraft in Europe and has included a total of 135 Boeing aircraft on order for the latest order. The 737 Max 8 will have 197 seats and is said to be 14 percent more fuel efficient than the current Next Generation 737 aircraft from Boeing.
