Low-cost airline Ryanair increased passenger traffic by seven percent to 12.6 million in June (11.8).

The cabin load factor of 96 percent remained unchanged compared to the same period the previous year.

During the month, Ryanair was forced to cancel over 1,100 flights due to various strikes and staff shortages. This compares to just 41 flights cancelled in June 2017.

Ryanair's passenger traffic has increased by seven percent to 132.9 million over the past twelve months.
