Ryanair raises 4 billion in share issue

Low-cost airline Ryanair raised around 400 million euros, equivalent to just over 4 billion kronor, in a placement of new shares overnight Friday. 

A total of just over 35.2 million new Ryanair shares were sold in the placement, corresponding to 3.2 percent of the number of outstanding shares before the issue, Ryanair wrote in a press release. 

The price landed at 11.35 euros per share, corresponding to a discount of 2.6 percent compared to Thursday's closing price.
