
Low-cost airline Ryanair reports a profit after tax of 211 million euros for the third quarter of the fiscal year. A profit after tax of 235 million euros was expected, according to a forecast compilation from S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Net sales amounted to EUR 2.31 billion. Net sales of EUR 2.36 billion were expected.
Regarding forecasts, Ryanair reiterates both revenue and traffic forecasts for the full year 2023 and also announces that the visibility of the forecasts is relatively high.
”"With Asian tourists now on the rebound and a strong US dollar attracting Americans to Europe, this contributes to robust demand ahead of the Easter and summer flight schedule," says CEO Michael O'Leary.
Ryanair's after-tax profit was at a record level for the third quarter of the company's broken financial year, the quarter that includes the Christmas and New Year holidays.
