The Irish airline Ryanair has decided to cancel 146 flights from 10 August, of which 22 are from Sweden and the remainder from Belgium and Ireland, according to a spokesperson for Ryanair speaking to Bloomberg News.
The decision was taken, according to Ryanair, as a result of announced pilot strikes in the three countries mentioned.
The Swedish Pilot Association submitted a strike notice to Ryanair on Tuesday, with the pilots announcing a 24-hour strike on August 10th if an agreement had not been reached by then.
The background is that the Swedish pilots at Ryanair lack a collective agreement.
