Ryanair welcomes a ruling from the District Court of Poznań–Grunwald and Jeżyce in Poland against a passenger who disrupted a flight between Palma de Mallorca and Poznań on 8 June 2025.

The passenger was sentenced to pay a fine of 3,000 Polish zlotys and 2,500 zlotys in damages directly to the crew member who was affected by the incident.

The airline emphasizes that the ruling is an example of the consequences that await passengers who behave disruptively on board. In addition to fines, Ryanair says it could also include travel bans and other sanctions.

"We welcome the court's decision to fine the disruptive passenger and compensate the crew member involved. This shows that passengers who disrupt flights will face the consequences of their actions within the framework of our zero tolerance policy," says Jade Kirwan at Ryanair.

Ryanair emphasizes that the company has a zero tolerance policy towards on-board disturbances and will continue to take action against passengers who endanger safety or negatively impact the journey for others.

The airline hopes that the ruling will deter similar behavior and contribute to a safer and more stress-free travel experience for both passengers and crew.
