Budget airline Ryanair will have to lower its forecast for next year's passenger traffic because of Boeing's late deliveries, the company's chief executive Michael O'Leary told Reuters.

”"We should have had 20 deliveries by the end of December. They're probably coming now in January and February, and that's good. We'll have them in time for next summer. The big question for Ryanair is we're going to have 30 aircraft in March, April, May and June of next year, and how many of those are we going to get?" O'Leary told Reuters. 

He states that the company has been hit by delays this year, resulting in significant increased costs.

”I think we will definitely reduce our traffic growth for next year, because I don't think we will get all those 30 aircraft,” he added.

O'Leary said that in his 30 years in the industry, he had never seen capacity constraints on the current scale.
