Ann-Sofie Hörlin most recently comes from the role as investment manager at Almi Invest but has a background in sustainability work in the aviation industry and has been sustainability manager at Malmö Aviation and BRA, SAS writes in a press release.
She also has a background as a project manager in telecom and IT consulting with a focus on e-commerce, according to Almi's website.
”"Ann-Sofie comes to our company with broad experience in sustainability work and she will play an important role in driving SAS's ambitious sustainability agenda," says Carina Malmgren Heander, HR Manager at SAS, in a comment.
SAS presented its latest traffic figures for March on Thursday, showing the highest passenger numbers since the start of the pandemic. A total of 1.4 million passengers flew with the company during March.
However, the numbers did not provide any boost to the stock, which is among those falling against the tide.
