A British trade union has warned more than 130 cabin crew at SAS subsidiary SAS Connect in London of a strike over the Christmas holidays, reports Aftonbladet with the industry magazine Check-in.dk as a source.

The background is a pay dispute between the company and the Unite union, and the parties have not yet been able to reach an agreement. The strike notice concerns the major airport Heathrow from 22–24 December and on 26 December.

SAS does not wish to comment on the strike threat or how it might affect Swedish travellers.

”We are currently in dialogue with the parties concerned. As negotiations are ongoing, we are unable to comment further on the matter at this time,” writes the airline's Head of Communications, Alexandra Lindgren Kaoukji, in an email to Aftonbladet.
