SAS is taking too long to refund cancelled trips, and the airline is also misleading those who bought their tickets through a travel agency. This is according to the Swedish Consumer Agency, reports Sveriges Radio. The agency began an inspection of SAS in the spring, and it has now been handed over to the Consumer Ombudsman (KO).

KO now has the option to issue a fine or sue SAS. The airline defends itself by saying that the refunds will be made.

”"Everyone who is entitled to a refund will receive their money, but unfortunately for some it will still take time," says SAS's head of communications Karin Nyman to Swedish Radio.
