The number of tourists from Sweden, Norway and Denmark to Croatia increased significantly in 2023. This is due both to increased interest in the country and to the fact that flight connections have increased in line with demand.
”"SAS has had traffic to Croatia for a long time and has expanded with several destinations and frequencies over time. SAS is investing in Croatia this summer by increasing the number of airline seats from Scandinavia by 20 percent compared to 2023," says Martin Kotte, SAS Head of Sales Sweden.
”"The market has confidence in Croatia as a tourist country, Croatia joining Schengen and introducing the euro meant that the country became even more accessible," says Vedran Susic, head of the Croatian Tourist Board.
This summer, SAS is offering a total of +20 percent more flight seats from Scandinavia to Croatia.
SAS will have direct flights to Split from Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim. There will also be direct flights from Copenhagen to Dubrovnik and Zadar.
