SAS will enter into negotiations with union representatives for Danish pilots on Thursday, after negotiations with the pilots' unions in both Sweden and Norway broke down, the Norwegian business newspaper reports.

The pilot unions, representing around 95 percent of all pilots in SAS, last year, terminated previous agreements. Since the union is the same, SAS Pilot Group, negotiations are taking place across national borders, writes E24.

”There are several areas where we need to reach agreement, but I do not want to comment on the demands,” said Knut Morten Johansen, the airline's head of communications.

The pilots' representative, Christian Laulund, is also tight-lipped.

”"I don't want to say anything about where we stand in relation to each other before an outcome of the negotiations in Copenhagen is clear," he told the Norwegian news site.
