The Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority is fining SAS for late refunds to travelers who were affected by canceled flights during this summer's pilot strike, Norwegian media reports.
SAS will pay a fine of 100,000 kronor to the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority, says the head of the authority, Lars Kobberstad, to NRK.
SAS is required to refund the ticket price for canceled flights within seven days, but has not met the deadline despite pressure from the authorities.
The company now has another ten days to fulfill their commitments to avoid new fines, writes DN.no.
Nearly 400,000 passengers were affected when SAS pilots went on strike for 15 days in the summer of 2022.
