The airline SAS flew 1.8 million passengers in May, an increase of 352 percent compared to the same period a year earlier.

This is evident from SAS's traffic report.

The cabin factor was 71.4 percent, an increase of 35.3 percentage points compared to last year.

The revenue measure yield fell by 10.4 percent while PASK rose by 74.9 percent currency-adjusted in May.

Compared to April, the total number of passengers increased by 18 percent and capacity increased by 13 percent.

”"The trend for our general ticket sales is positive for the upcoming summer period, but the entire aviation industry is facing challenges. To minimize operational problems ahead of the summer, SAS has therefore made proactive adjustments to the traffic program. At the same time, the important work on the necessary transformation of SAS continues," writes CEO Anko van der Werff.
