The airline SAS today releases its annual report for its 2017/2018 fiscal year.

Expected operating profit according to Factset's consensus with 4 analysts' estimates is SEK 818 million. During the corresponding period last year, profit was SEK 626 million.

Sydbank, which predicts an EBITDA result for the quarter of SEK 845 million and SEK 2,130 million for the full year, writes in an analysis that the aviation industry has taken a heavy beating from higher fuel prices.

”"At the same time, the environment for air traffic is very positive and growth is high. There is also the possibility of passing on some of the fuel increases to passengers," writes Sydbank's head of equity research Jacob Pedersen.

The company will release the report at 8:00 a.m. today.
