The airline SAS flew a total of approximately 2.3 million passengers in September, an increase of 17 percent compared to the same month a year earlier.

SAS's capacity, measured as ASK, increased by almost 18 percent. The cabin factor was 78 percent while the change in passenger kilometers (RPK) was +18 percent.
SAS's currency-adjusted yield, revenue per passenger kilometer, was down 2.9 percent compared to the same month last year.
The so-called currency-adjusted Pask level, passenger revenue in relation to available airline seats, was down approximately 2.6 percent.

SAS shares fell further by 19.8 percent on Friday, but this is linked to Tuesday's news about the entry of new major owners and that the common shares are expected to be withdrawn and delisted next year.
