The airline SAS has appointed Erno Hildén as the new CFO. Last week it was announced that Magnus Öberg was leaving the company.

Erno Hildén will be given the titles of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, according to a press release. He has had a career with several operational leadership roles globally in the airline industry. Among other things, he has previously been Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Finnish airline Finnair. Erno Hildén comes from Finland.

According to the CEO, the new CFO will have a key role in the ongoing change process and the savings program that the company calls SAS Forward.

Erno Hildén takes up the role in April.

Magnus Öberg, who came to SAS from the same role within the defense group Saab, has worked for the company since the fall of 2020.
