An SAS plane from Stockholm that was supposed to land in Madeira on Saturday had to be diverted to Las Palmas after engine problems, it reports. The Echo.
SAS press officer Irena Busic confirms to Ekot that there was some type of problem with the engine and that the landing was aborted. There was no mention of an emergency landing, but Busic believes that the plane was redirected because the technical assistance is better at Las Palmas.
