The airline SAS is postponing interest payments due on April 24 and 26, 2023, respectively, on the company's hybrid bonds, as part of the company's SAS Forward plan and voluntary Chapter 11 process in the US. This is stated in a press release.

”"The deferral of interest payments is made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective hybrid bond," it says.

In total, interest payments of nearly SEK 273 million will be postponed.

SAS is postponing the company's semi-annual interest payment of approximately SEK 56.3 million, which is due on April 24, 2023, on the company's outstanding SEK 1,615 million perpetual hybrid bonds.

The company's semi-annual interest payment of approximately SEK 216 million is also postponed. The bond matures on April 26, 2023 on the company's total outstanding SEK 6,000 million subordinated hybrid bonds with perpetual maturity.

SAS has previously postponed interest payments due to the Chapter 11 process.
