On Tuesday, SAS announced which routes the company will operate in July. From Stockholm, it will be possible to fly to London again, among other things.
SAS plans to increase capacity to just over 40 aircraft in July, compared to 30 planes in June. However, traffic remains significantly reduced and the number of planes in service is just under 30 percent compared to the same period last year.
Next month, the company will resume flights to more destinations from Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm. From Arlanda, for example, routes to Finland and London will be reopened.
”"As restrictions and entry rules are easing in different countries, we are seeing an increase in demand for travel. It remains important that you as a traveler stay informed about the rules that apply to each country and destination, and that you stay home if you have symptoms. We also want to remind our customers of the measures that SAS has taken to reduce the risk of spreading infection and the changes this means for your trip, such as the requirement to wear a face mask during the flight," says Freja Annamatz, press manager at SAS, in a press release.
SAS has been continuously announcing over the past month which routes will be reopened. In June, it will be possible to fly from Stockholm to Nice and Thessaloniki again, among other things.
Additional destinations will be gradually added from all three countries as demand returns, SAS writes.
