SAS resumes flights – but not in Sweden

Eleven of the 18 SAS planes that were taken out of service on Saturday have been checked and are ready to fly again during the day.

But to and from Arlanda Eight departures are canceled on Sunday, says Irena Busic, press manager at SAS.

”"After intensive dialogue with our suppliers, we have now found solutions that will enable us to resume a large part of our regular flights on Sunday," she writes to TT.

It is not possible to say exactly which flights are affected at this time. Passengers affected will be contacted via text message or email.

On Saturday, 49 flights were canceled, according to Norwegian. TV2. Three of them were from Arlanda, says Irena Busic.

Tonje Sund, press manager for SAS in Norway, tells Norwegian TV2 that all flights to, from and within Denmark and Norway will resume on Sunday.
