
The airline SAS has appointed Jason Mahoney as its new chief operating officer, according to a press release.
Mahoney most recently came from the role of Chief Technology Officer at British Airways. He has also been Chief Operating Officer for the same company for a number of years.
Mahoney will take up his new position on May 1 and replaces Simon Pauck Hansen who left in January.
SAS also announces that Erik Westman will be permanently appointed to the role of EVP Network and Revenue Management. Westberg has held the role on an acting basis for five months and with the permanent appointment, he will become part of the SAS management team.
