”1.6 million passengers traveled with SAS in December, corresponding to a 6 percent increase in passenger volume compared to last year. In December, Skellefteå City Airport became the first individual airport in Sweden to join the SAS Corporate Sustainability Program, and we hope that the partnership will inspire other companies to join and participate in driving the transition towards more sustainable aviation.
SAS is also broadening its offering and increasing capacity for the summer traffic program. During the summer, SAS will fly to over 130 destinations in more than 40 countries, with more departures to popular destinations in Europe, North America and Asia, as well as nine new destinations in Europe,” says Anko van der Werff, President and CEO of SAS.
