Air France-KLM reports operating profit of 736 million euros, equivalent to 8.2 billion kronor, for the second quarter of this year. This is an increase of 223 million euros compared to the same quarter last year.

The group's revenue increased by 6.2 percent compared to the previous year to EUR 8.4 billion, equivalent to SEK 93.8 billion.

Air France-KLM announced on July 4 that it is increasing its ownership in SAS to just over 60 percent of the shares. Before the deal, the company owned almost 20 percent of SAS.

The acquisition requires approval from authorities before it can be implemented.
