An SAS plane that took off from Copenhagen with Shanghai as its destination was forced to return to Kastrup Airport shortly after takeoff on Sunday evening, Expressen reports.
The Airbus A340-313 took off an hour late on Sunday evening. Shortly afterwards, the plane was forced to turn back. There were 220 passengers and 12 crew members on board.
”"They received an indication of a technical fault on the landing pad," says Freja Annamatz at SAS. SPress officer for Expressen.
The plane circled in the air for a while to lose weight and fuel and was then able to land normally around 9:30 p.m. The flight has now been canceled.
