The Scandic hotel chain will start charging a fee for hotel breakfast. 

Breakfast will still be offered to hotel guests but is not included in the hotel room price., writes SVT News.

– We now offer more flexibility, so that we can tailor the experience to your wishes. You can add breakfast to your booking, choose to bring something small to eat or forgo breakfast altogether. The choice can be made before arrival or at the hotel, says Johanna Uimonen, Head of Communications for Scandic. 

The change will come into effect at all Scandic hotels during the year.

– Earlier this year, we conducted a pilot trial at several of our hotels, which gave us positive feedback from guests.
