– With the opening of our first Scandic Go hotels in Finland, we are broadening our offering and creating more relevant choices for different types of travellers. Our new hotels in Turku and Oulu reflect Scandic's long-term commitment to markets where we see great potential for sustainable growth. In addition to a growing demand for business and meeting travel, these regions also offer a rich cultural scene and strong natural experiences – something we see attracting the typical Scandic Go guest, says Laura Tarkka, COO Finland, Germany and Poland at Scandic Hotels.

Sustainability is an integral part of how Scandic operates and develops its hotels. Scandic Go is designed with a focus on resource efficiency, including optimised use of energy, water, and with solutions that reduce waste. The two new hotels are certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, one of the industry's toughest environmental labels.
