A renewed search effort for the so-called black box that recorded the cockpit voices from the Lion Air plane that crashed in Indonesia on October 29 has been delayed for two days due to bad weather.

A ship was scheduled to arrive at the crash site on Monday, but bad weather has delayed its arrival and the airline says the ship will arrive at the accident site on Wednesday.

Previously, one of the plane's black boxes, which store flight data, was successfully recovered. Based on this, it has been concluded that the plane had technical problems. The voice recordings can hopefully provide more clues about the accident.

All 189 people on board died when Lion Air flight JT610 from Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang crashed into the sea just minutes after takeoff. A final crash report is expected in the coming years.
