The third and final seat on the first ever tourist flight into space has been sold. The ticket was sold for a record sum of approximately 233 million kronor. The auction closed on Saturday, writes Excellent.

However, who bought the seat in Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' space company Blue Origin is a secret and is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

The mystery buyer can now look forward to a ten-minute journey with Jeff Bezos and his brother, who have previously booked two of the New Shepard capsule's three seats. Four minutes of the journey will be over the Kármán Line, the internationally recognized boundary between Earth's atmosphere and space.
