Since 2013, the rescue service has also been staffed at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. In December 2022, the company won the latest tender at the airport with a 4-year contract with the possibility of extension. A 10-year collaboration that now continues to develop and improve thanks to close dialogue between the parties.

– The key to a long and successful collaboration like the one we have with Swedavia is an open dialogue that benefits both parties' processes, development and profitability. Our goal is to constantly improve our delivery of services and adapt to their processes and development. It is a collaboration I am very proud of, says Pasi Vuorinen, Country Product Manager Aviation at Securitas Sweden.

Securitas' mission in the emergency services involves preventing and limiting damage to people, property and the environment in connection with aviation accidents within the airport's area of responsibility or other accidents at the airport. As well as the operational delivery within the emergency services, preventive work is also ongoing within systematic fire protection work.

– For Arlanda and Bromma, close collaboration is the key to our competence-driven operations with the requirements set in the regulations for safe airport operations, says Niclas Tongring, Fire Chief Rescue & Firefighting Service at Swedavia Arlanda and Bromma.
