Two children have fallen from a chairlift at Skistar's mountain resort in Hemsedal, Norway. They were picked up by ambulance helicopter and flown to hospital. According to Dagbladet, one of the children is seriously injured, but conscious, while the other has minor injuries.

Witnesses spoken to by local newspaper Hallingdølen say that the children fell several meters from a new, 1,800-meter-long so-called express lift that opened in Hemsedal ahead of this winter season.

According to Dagbladet, the children are from Denmark.
