The Spanish tourist town of Tarifa has evacuated over 1,500 people due to a large-scale forest fire, reports El Páis.
The forest fire broke out on Tuesday in the Torre de la Peña area and has affected both campsites and several hotels.
According to information provided to El Mundo, the fire started inside a caravan.
France is also currently being ravaged by forest fires. In the Aude region, an area larger than Paris has burned since Tuesday, the BBC reports. At least 25 homes have been destroyed and 2,500 households are without power.
