Several dead after tourist boat accident

At least three people have died after a tourist boat capsized north of Mombasa, reports TT.

More than 20 people have been rescued, but one is still missing. According to reports to one of Kenya's biggest newspapers, Nation, it is an eight-year-old child.

The boat is believed to have been hit by large waves before it sank. However, it is unclear why it capsized.

According to Nation, there were 29 people on board the boat, 15 of whom were foreign nationals. Their nationalities are currently unknown.
